HOW DOES THIS WORK?

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

step 1: submit your car

By filling out the Submit Your Car form, your vehicle photos and details will be automatically entered into our secure back-end database. After review the vehicle will be manually uploaded to our website, typically within 7 - 10 business days.

step 2: wait for us to reach out

After your vehicle has been submitted, we will keep it on-file and reach out if any potential jobs comes up that it may be a good fit for. When a potential job comes up, we will discuss all the details with you to see if you are available and interested. We will provide the shoot date, location, how the client would like to use the vehicle, payment for the job and any other pertinent details. If you are available and interested, your vehicle will then be included with the other available options that the client will choose from.

Our clients typically ask to see a variety of vehicle options that are available on their shoot date. From that selection they eventually select the vehicle that will be confirmed and booked for the job. We will be in touch to let you know if your vehicle is chosen or not.

step 3: prepare for your car’s big day

If your vehicle is chosen by the client, we will let you know the exact time, address and details of the job. We will also send over a rental agreement that puts these details into writing along with agreed upon payment amount. Please make sure your car arrives clean and presentable for the job.

step 4: get it to the shoot

Normally, we would ask that you take care of transporting your vehicle to and from the shoot. We are open to assisting with third-party transport services in some situations if necessary. Once at the shoot, be available to help move/position your vehicle or open doors, trunks, windows, lights, etc. as needed. The intended use of the vehicle will be discussed beforehand, but ultimately any movement or use of the vehicle is at your discretion.

step 5: get paid

We are flexible with the method in which you get paid: Zelle, Paypal or check in the mail are the most common. We’ll send payment to you within 2 business days of the shoot’s completion.

FAQs

  • Since every shoot is different, this all depends upon what the client has in mind. With every shoot that we work on, we ask the client to explain exactly how the car will be used beforehand to make sure the owner is comfortable with it before it gets booked. The majority of shoots that we work on are static (non-moving) photoshoots. If the car does need to be driven or moved at all, we will make sure to discuss these details with you beforehand to make sure you are comfortable with it.

  • Since the details of every shoot are different, the amount that you will be paid will vary. Once the location, duration and intended use of the vehicle are decided, we’ll be able to determine payment amount for the vehicle.

  • Every shoot that we work on, we require the production company to provide us with a certificate of insurance the provides at least $1 million automobile liability coverage. Additionally, the production company will sign an agreement stating that if the vehicle should be damaged in any way during the shoot, they are liable to pay for repairs to the vehicle to return it to the same condition as when it arrived.

  • No. We understand that every job is not going to be a perfect fit for every vehicle. If you are not available or interested in providing your vehicle for a particular shoot, we will not present it as an option to our client.

  • With every shoot, we put a strong effort into making sure the client understands the boundaries and limits of how the car can be used to avoid a situation where the car might potentially be damaged. With that being said, mistakes can still happen. In the event that your car does sustain damage while at the shoot, the production company is liable to pay for any repairs needed to bring the car back to the condition it was in before the shoot.
